The two pages in this section are procedural. The first walks one reported figure back to its primary source and tells you what to do when the two do not agree, which is the normal outcome rather than the exception. The second turns those checks into a scorecard you fill in before you have an opinion, so the record is evidence rather than justification.
Both pages assume you can read a block explorer page without help. Neither requires you to write code, although both note where a script saves time.
